Ichor

Ichor is often described as the manifestation of radiance itself, which when densely concentrated can become visible. It is is a highly magical substance that naturally occurs in a variety of forms, but is most commonly found in the blood of Divine entities. In its purest form, Ichor is a golden plasma that seeps into one’s skin, pervasive and infectious. Researchers who have worked with Ichor have reported feelings of euphoria and supremacy, as well as a heightened state of spiritual awareness. It is power that can be felt all around-- charged in the air, singing through the mind, soaking into the skin, making everything brighter and more beautiful.

For a mortal, interacting with Ichor seems to make things appear to be more vibrant and idealized than they should be. This results in a distorted sense of majesty that is both inspiring and heart-rending, often evoking both joy and terror within the beholder. It is suspected to be highly addictive, though this has not yet been confirmed.
