Age of Dragons

The Age of Dragons was a period of time in Sharum Mal'Kari's history when dragons took over and ruled over nearly the entire world. Brought to Sharum Mal'Kari by Gayan when he ripped open The Weave and caused the Tearfall, dragons quickly rose to power and conquered most human nations, forever changing the political landscape.

The Age of Dragons was brought to a sudden and catastrophic end when, in part due to their own in-fighting and in part due to their fundamental underestimating of the cunning, strength and resiliency of the human spirit, the Dragon Lords were collectively overthrown. In their place, human kings and queens began to hungrily seek out their own means of dragon-like power, and thus began the Age of Arcana.
