Goals

Goals describe any particular objective a character gives themselves (or has been given by someone else). Goals strongly influence a character's decisions or actions, and often will be the trigger for a sub-quest. A Goal should be a long-term-- or, at the very least, something that does not prevent or overly distract the character from being in a group of adventurers in their early levels.

Characters select one Goal during Character Creation, and may add more later.

  • Escape his former associates;
  • Follow clues to find the hidden treasure of the Forlorn;
  • Complete an encyclopedia of demonic creatures left behind by a mentor;
  • Find the missing author of his favorite books;
  • Interpret the strange messages that keep appearing in her dreams
